sisbigbonesYou know, this raises a lot of qoestiuns about this man and what drives a seemingly normal person to commit such heinous crimes (I don't buy much into the devil worshipping theory. Our culture has the habit of attributing anything we don't understand to the supernatural. I still remember when HIV/AIDS was conspicously blamed on witchcraft!)But, at the same time, this also raises the concern of how incapable our law enforcement is. They do not have the expertise, the technology, and quite frankly the smarts to deal with such crimes. If this man hadn't confessed, he would probably have succeeded in reaching his target, albeit after serving a few years in jail for kidnapping charges. What I wanna know is, where does the money set aside each year in the budget for National Security go other than to pay these people? How much do they invest in technology and advanced training? How is it that a kidnapper can get paid through M-Pesa and get away with it? We can do better as a country. All sorts of crimes are getting out of hand in our country.Pole for blogging on your blog
